CDPR has confirmed that its official Witcher 3 REDkit modding editor will go live on May 21, 2024. It will be available for free for everyone who owns The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC.
The editor is currently available on Steam in its beta version and makes modding Witcher 3 on PC much easier than before.
Witcher 3 mod makers have been requesting modding tools for nearly a decade since the game’s release, so it’s nice to see it finally go live.
Given how popular Witcher 3 is, I wouldn’t be surprised to see many great mods come out in the near future despite the game’s relatively old age. One such mod is the Revenge of Ofir, which is currently being developed with a large team.
We can now look forward to many great Witcher 3 mods coming this year and beyond. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date with any new exciting mods.
Perhaps we’ll even see Witcher 3 rival Skyrim, the most popular modding game, in the pace and amount of modding that takes place.
