You’re probably familiar with Black Myth: Wukong, the popular Chinese action RPG that was one of the big hits of 2024. Now, one dedicated fan has made a mod to bring Wukong’s armors into the world of The Witcher 3.
Black Myth WuKong Armor 2.0 introduces four beautifully designed equipment sets inspired by characters and styles from Black Myth: Wukong. Created using CDPR’s REDkit, this mod adds a total of 28 new items, all accessible at level 41. Each set’s stats are modeled after an existing Witcher gear set.
The Four Armor Sets:
- Heaven’s Equal Set – Modeled after Geralt’s Forgotten Wolf School Gear stats
- Fortune’s Favor Set – Based on Grandmaster Feline stats
- Bull King Set – Uses Mastercrafted Ursine stats and features two helmet variants
- YangJian Set – Styled after Mastercrafted Griffin Gear and includes multiple unique weapons (spears and axes included)
You can purchase the sets from the merchant attacked by the griffin at the game’s start or the innkeeper in White Orchard. Console commands are also available for instant access (see the mod page for these).
I have the say, the armors fit Geralt quite nicely, even if you’re not a huge fan of the Eastern/Chinese aesthetic. They remind me of the White Tiger of the West Armor added in the Next-Gen update.
As a standalone DLC, this mod is fully compatible with both Old Gen and Next-Gen versions of the game.
