How to get Grandmaster Feline Gear

In this quick guide, we’ll explain how to get the diagrams for the Grandmaster Feline gear set in Witcher 3.

This level 41 upgrade for the Cat School set was added in the Blood and Wine expansion. It’s ideal for an agile, fast attack playstyle and comes with the following grandmaster set bonuses:

• (3/6) Strong attacks increase Fast attack damage by 10% for each piece of the set for 5 seconds
• (6/6) Rear attacks deal 50% more damage and stun at the cost of 1 adrenaline point

To upgrade your Feline set to Grandmaster, you’ll need to obtain the six armor and weapon diagrams, which are scattered throughout the Toussaint zone.

To find them, you can either travel to Beauclair and speak with the Grandmaster Smith Lazare Lafargue to start the Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Feline gear quest or head straight for the diagram locations we’ve added below.

Grandmaster Feline Armor Location

The grandmaster feline armor diagram is found at an estate in Northern Toussaint, to the east of the Arthach Palace Ruins. To get inside, walk around the wall until you find the scaffolding and use it to climb over.

After defeating some bandits and talking to an NPC, head into the red house; inside, you will find a painting that contains the grandmaster Feline armor diagram. Read the note that came with it for the next diagram location.

Grandmaster Feline Trousers & Boots Location

The next highlighted diagram location will take you to a nearby Hanse bandit base found inside a bog. You’ll have to fight through a horde of bandits and then walk into the central tower and go right. You’ll find a chest with the grandmaster Feline trousers and boots diagrams here, and a note for the next location.

Grandmaster Feline Steel Sword, Silver Sword, and Gauntlets Location

At the final nearby diagram location, you’ll find a monster Den and a cave. After killing the archespores, loot the bag at the end of the cave to get the last three grandmaster Feline diagrams: steel sword, silver sword, and gauntlets.

You can now travel back to the grandmaster armorer in Beauclair to craft the complete grandmaster Feline gear set. Make sure that you have all of your mastercrafted Feline pieces; you’ll need them to craft the Grandmaster upgrades.

Grandmaster Feline Gear Stats

Like the previous tiers of the Feline set, the grandmaster version is a light armor that provides bonuses to attack power, aard sign intensity, crit chance, and crit damage. This set is ideal for fast attack builds and dealing high damage.
